Murals and Mosaics

 

MURAL AND MOSAIC PROJECTS

 

2008               An outdoor twelve foot diameter (113 square foot) marble mosaic walk to be completed as a memorial to John Lennon

                       Hard Rock Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

2007               "Creatures Both Small and Great," a smalti and porcelain mosaic mural - 7 feet high by 51 feet wide (357 square feet)

                        The Ashworth, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

2006 & 2007  Two Italian glass mosaic murals of Saint Philip and Saint James (each measuring 9-1/2 feet high by 4 feet wide), a mosaic altar and a mosaic baptismal font in Iglesia Episcopal San Felipe y Santiago, San Jose, Costa Rica.

2007                Assisted California artist Kim Emerson on the public art mosaic project installed at Southwest Human Development in Phoenix, Arizona.

2005                “Smoke and Steel,” a 110 feet long outdoor mosaic mural commissioned by the City of Salisbury, North Carolina.  Funded in part by a grant from The Blanche & Julian Robertson Family Foundation.

2000 & 2001   Assisted with the fresco completed by Benjamin F. Long, IV

                        at the Civic Center, Statesville, North Carolina.

1998                Assisted with the fresco completed by Benjamin F. Long, IV

                        at The Chapel of the Prodigal at Montreat College, Montreat, 

                        North Carolina.
